Adjacent to bustling Poplar Avenue, the massing is setback behind a tall field of bamboo and 8’ landscape walls which trace the site extents. The lower-level garage volume is featured prominently, creating a buffer between the shared drive and the living zones. This layered approach creates a “false front” for guests as they first encounter a covered portal which limits access into the property and to the front door proper.

At the true front door guests are confronted with a double-height shaft of light threading through both floors of the home.
