The project at Rembert is a duplex on top of a duplex.

Two slender gabled volumes, shear slightly to allow access to each of the four stacked units within.
Organized along a single circulation spine, each unit features two bedrooms and a generous living area open to the historic neighborhood.

From the exterior, the massing suggests dual occupancy, yet the backside acts as the front entry for the upper units by way of a shared stair. The stair volume opens 25’ to the ceiling above creating a moment of grandeur for the “back-door”.
